Title: BLOOD TIES Series
Post by: Phoebe Jordan on March 23, 2008, 03:42:40 pm
I love to watch BLOOD TIES. It was a book written by Tanya Huff before it was made into the LifetimeTV series it is now. Has anyone read the books? What do you think about the show and/or the books?

Here is the description about the show for anyone who hasn't seen the show from the LifetimeTV BLOOD TIES page:

Quote
Get ready to take a thrilling ride alongside Vicki Nelson, a private investigator who specializes in solving supernatural crimes. Together with her assistant, Coreen; Vicki's ex-partner (and lover), Mike; and the sexy 450-year-old vampire, Henry, Vicki finds herself delving ever deeper into the secrets of the mystical world, all the while torn between her allegiance to Mike and her growing attraction to Henry.

Love the show, haven't read the books.

I flat-out adore Henry (and it tickles my funnybone that he's Henry Fitzroy). I don't like Mike though. He's just doesn't appeal to me.

I also haven't read the books even though I was tempted to buy them and read them, I just thought it would be better for my wallet if I didn't. I also love Henry and since I saw the first season of the Tudors it just reminds me that he plays King Henry III's son. I also agree with you on the Mike character because he also doesn't appeal to me either.
